How to use the XML Sitemap Generator
- Enter your website homepage URL.
- Choose how many pages to crawl.
- Click Generate and wait. Larger sites take longer.
- Copy or download sitemap.xml, upload it to your site root and submit it in Google Search Console.
Frequently asked questions
Should I use this on a WordPress site?
Usually no. An SEO plugin such as Rank Math generates and updates a sitemap automatically. Use this tool for static or small non-WordPress sites.
Why is the limit 50 pages?
The crawl runs on a shared server, so a small limit keeps it fast and fair for everyone.
Does it include noindex pages?
No. Pages with a noindex meta tag, and URLs with query strings, are skipped. Review the list before submitting.
