My story

How I got into SEO

Not a perfect story, but a real one.

Growing up

The kid who fixed everyone's phone

I got hooked on phones and the internet when I was very young. From around 2010 to 2017, people in my area brought me their phones whenever something went wrong with the settings or software, and I fixed it. I also helped people open accounts like Facebook and Apple ID. I knew people could earn money online, but nobody showed me how, and I did not even have a computer.

First try

Graphic design, for a few months

A friend of my father had a small office that made banners, logos and ID cards. I went there to learn design so I could sell it online. I stayed two or three months, but they did not really teach properly, so I left.

2018

Where SEO started

Faqrul bhai, an older brother from my neighbourhood, ran a small shop called Brothers Ambition Technology. He told me about SEO and I joined his paid course. I could not pay the full fee at once, so I paid half and cleared the rest later. In about three months he taught me off-page SEO, and then the course time was over. It was only one part of SEO, but it was enough to start, so I began my work on Fiverr with off-page SEO.

Self-learning

Teaching myself the rest

I researched on Google and learned most from YouTube, especially from two well-known Bangladeshi teachers, Md Faruk Khan and Nasir Uddin Shamim. I watched their free videos first. Then I joined Nasir Uddin Shamim's lifetime course, which comes with support and a big private SEO group. He keeps updating it, so I still go back to learn.

Today

Still learning, still manual

SEO changes all the time. SEO in 2020 and SEO in 2026 feel like different worlds, so I keep taking courses. After years on Fiverr and with direct clients, I worked as a Senior SEO and WordPress Security Expert at Ad Amble Agency, and now I run my own platform, usedvehicle.us. I still do every job by hand, with white-hat methods only.
